"La Casa de mis Recuerdos means the "House of my Memories". I call it this because it was my parents house and was where my children grew up. When they left, I decided to rent out their rooms to the foreigners that came to Oaxaca to study spanish. It was one of my guests that suggested to me that I open a Bed and Breakfast instead and in 1978, we received our first guest as a Bed and Breakfast. He was a psychologist from the United States whose name was Benjamin Franklin, with whom to date we have maintained a close friendship."                             - Conchita
